HEJSupport joined more than 60 NGOs calling on the EU Commission to restrict the production, use, and placement on the market of PVC and its additives under the REACH regulation.
The Petition, already signed by more than 960 individuals and organizations, demands a global ban on PVC under the new Global Plastics Treaty.
The Petition highlights that PVC can only be used if no safer alternatives exist and if it is necessary to safeguard health and safety or is deemed critical for society’s well-being.
