Comments on the Non-paper on Strategic Objectives and Targets for the fourth meeting of the intersessional process of the beyond 2020 instrument on chemicals and waste
FeaturedFor the resumed fourth meeting of the intersessional process (IP 4) considering the Strategic Approach and sound management of chemicals and waste beyond 2020, to be held from 23 to 24 September 2023 in Bonn, IP Co-Chairs prepared three Non-Papers to facilitate the discussion. The non-papers include:
Non-Paper on Strategic Objectives and Targets
Non-Paper on Financial considerations, Financial Arrangements and Capacity Building
Non-Paper on Measurability Structure
By September 4, 2023, stakeholders had an opportunity to provide comments on all three or selected Non-papers. A Group of NGOs, namely the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC), Health and Environment Justice Support (HEJSupport), groundwork South Africa (groundWorksSA), Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF), German Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND), Chemical Safety Agency (CSA, Ukraine), Armenian Women for Health and Healthy Environment (AWHHE), Foundation in Support of Civil Initiatives (FSCI, Tajikistan) prepared comments on the Non-paper on Strategic Objectives and Targets.
